Wayne Dunn
Wayne Dunn is President and Founder of the CSR Training Institute and a former Professor of Practice in CSR at McGill University. He is a Stanford University Sloan Fellow with an M.Sc. in Management from Stanford Business School. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Baraka Shea Butter, a mission-driven, for profit, social purpose venture that sources shea butter in northern Ghana and distributes throughout North America and Australia.
He is a Founding Member of the Global Advisory Board for the SDG Foundation and of the EU Africa Chamber of Commerce. He also chaired the inaugural EU Africa CSR Awards and Ta’atheer 2016, the MENA CSR and Social Impact Summit. He serves on numerous other advisory boards and CSR awards juries throughout Africa, in the Gulf Region and around the world.
Prof. Dunn has decades of global social responsibility and sustainability project experience along with substantial teaching experience having developed and taught Strategy, CSR ESG and Sustainability to executives and leaders worldwide.
He has designed and implemented successful projects worldwide, covering a range of industry sectors and including governments, international organizations and civil society. His work has won many prestigious international awards, including the first-ever private sector project to win a World Bank Development Innovation Award. His work is often used as global best practice and were featured in a Stanford Business School Case Study.
Wayne is recognized as a global thought-leader and is a frequent lecturer and speaker on business, social responsibility, economics, development, and strategy at events worldwide.
He has authored pragmatic works on Strategy, ESG, SDGs and Sustainability and has dozens of vignette lectures available on Strategic CSR/SDG Video Channel, a free source of learning for practitioners worldwide.

Dr. Eugene Owusu
Special Advisor on the SDGs to the President of Ghana
Dr. Eugene Owusu is an International Policy and Development Management expert with over 25 years of experience in strategic leadership and advocacy with the United Nations throughout Africa, managing complex political, development and humanitarian challenges. He has been a facilitator of institutional partnerships between the UN, Governments, private sector and civil society entities, and is adept in negotiations and policy-driven solutions.
Presently, Eugene is the Special Advisor to the President of Ghana on the Sustainable Development Goals and Sherpa to the President in his role as Co-Chair of the Eminent Group of SDGs Advocates and as a member of the High Level Panel on the Ocean Economy. He is the substantive lead on the President’s advocacy and engagement team for mobilizing support for the accelerated implementation of the SDGs at both the sub-regional and international levels.
As the Senior Advisor (Strategic Africa Partnerships) at UNDP Brussels from 2007-2010, he facilitated institutional partnerships with the European Union and its institutions in support of Africa’s development agenda in countries like Uganda, Sierra Leone and Tanzania.
From 2015-2017, Eugene has served in various capacities at the UN. Among these are UN Assistant Secretary General and Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in South Sudan, UN Secretary-General and Humanitarian Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Ethiopia where he performed many roles including providing leadership role in the implementation of UN’s system and operational activities.
Prior to joining UNDP, Eugene worked with the world-renowned private sector entity, Dun and Bradstreet Ltd in the United Kingdom as Senior Country Risk Analyst, and then as Head of Economic Research where his functions included managing Dun and Bradstreet’s macroeconomic and strategic research and the company’s portfolio of director-level sovereign risk reports for international trade, investment and business decision-making. From 1989 -91, Eugene was an Economist/Market Analyst at the British Sulphur Corporation/CRU International in London where he had responsibility for Strategic and Market Studies, Economic Forecasting, Investment Analysis, and Analysis of Industry and Economic Trends.
Eugene Owusu holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Pennsylvania State University. His passion for the humanitarian agenda cannot be underestimated considering his contribution to UN in the area of humanitarianism. He also has keen interest in conflict mediation and peace maintenance.
George Owusu Ansah (tbc)
Managing Director, Unilever Ghana (TBC)
He has extensive experience in consumer goods over a career spanning nearly 30 years with Unilever working in Supply Chain and Customer Development roles across Ghana, Malawi, China, Singapore, Kenya and Nigeria after joining Unilever Ghana as a management trainee in 1990.
He has broad experience in planning, sourcing and customer service excellence in Supply Chain and his Customer Development experience include trade marketing for foods, home and personal care.
Adiki Ayitevie
Vice President, Sustainability & External Relations Africa
Newmont Corporation
Adiki Ofeibea Ayitevie was appointed as Vice President, Sustainability & External Relations in 2018 having previously served as Senior Director, Communications & External Relations of Newmont Africa.
Ms. Ayitevie oversees Newmont Africa’s environmental, social responsibility, site government relations, systems & services, communications and external relations sub-functions.
A core operating district of Newmont Corporation, the world’s leading gold producer, Newmont Africa has two wholly owned gold mining concessions in Ghana, West Africa and an exploration joint venture programme in Ethiopia. Ms. Ayitevie is an accomplished and well-respected sustainability professional with in-depth knowledge and expertise in social performance, strategic communications, crisis and issues management, brand positioning and reputation management
Her experience prior to Newmont includes roles at Volta River Authority, Société Générale Ghana Bank, and Public Agenda Newspaper. She also holds an Executive MA degree in Communications from IE School of Human Sciences & Technology, Spain; a Certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge; Post Grad Diploma in Communications from University of Ghana; and a B.A. in English and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast.
She has also worked as a private consultant to a range of non-government and private organizations in Ghana.
Ms. Ayitevie is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She is the President of the Governing Council of United Way Ghana, a network member of United Way Worldwide and also a member of United Way Worldwide’s Membership Accountability Committee. She sits on the Board of Directors, American Chamber of Commerce – Ghana and is the Treasurer.
She is a recipient of the Ghana Journalists Association’s Best Health Reporter Award for Print media. She has twice been voted as one of the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining for demonstrating skills and attributes that inspire a new generation of professionals in all walks of the mining industry. She was voted the PR Personality of the Year 2017 and won the illustrious IE Alumni EIC Award – Women Inspiring Women 2019.
