Dr. Caulfield brings a combination of high level academic and high level industry experience, enabling a pragmatic integration of theory and practice in CSR.
He has held senior industry roles in Strategy, Planning and Corporate Social Responsibility, including with BP where he was responsible for European strategic planning and for community investment and engagement strategy focusing on improving sustainable interventions.
Other industry roles include focusing on business modelling and venture finance for major European and US banks and include operational experience of MNC and NGO operations in the developing world covering sustainable business development and capability building in Angola, Russia, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
His research and teaching interests include Corporate Responsibility and new strategies for Sustainability: Corporate Community Investments, Employee Volunteering, Base of Pyramid, Social Enterprise, Eco-entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business Design.
