Ms. Sara Clancy is the Executive Director of Partner Africa. Partner Africa’s vision is the widespread adoption of responsible business practices across Africa that meet international and national social, environmental, and safety standards, respect workers’ human rights, and improve working conditions.
Sara is a responsible business specialist who has worked extensively in the agribusiness, manufacturing, banking, and extractives sectors for more than 30 years. She has also managed
ethical trade programs for Values and Vision LLP, International Finance Corporation, Concern Universal, the Work Bank Group, UNDP, The UN Global Compact, The Body Shop, Levis Strauss, Save the Children UK, Irish Aid, Oxfam Australia, and Concern Worldwide.
Prior to working in sustainable business, Sara worked for a range of bilateral aid agencies and non-government organizations focusing on poverty eradication in Africa and South East Asia.
She is also the founder of CSR4Africa an African-based think tank that develops local solutions to sustainable business issues.
