Dr. Holger Till has nearly two decades of medical, development, and public/private collaboration experience in Ghana, West Africa, and Germany. During that time, he has worked for the German Development Cooperation in Ghana, both as an adviser and a project manager for the regional and national HIV/AIDS/STI Control Programme, Greater Accra, and as a team leader for the GIZ Regional Coordination Unit for HIV & TB.
In addition, Dr. Till served as the Portfolio Manager/Deputy Country Director of GIZ Ghana, where he worked in project design and planning, development of proposals, administrative and budget management, project implementation, project assessment, and evaluation, mainly in the area of HIV, health, health system strengthening, social protection, and nutrition. He also facilitated, financed, and supported numerous partnerships involving GIZ, private sector partners, governments, and communities.
A licensed medical doctor and engineer, his detailed experience in negotiating and implementing public/private health sector partnerships was gained in the field and is supplemented by his time in Ghana.
