Terry Gray is a global thought and practice leader focused on impact investing and development and working with leading global interests to pioneer this emerging field.

Terry joined Impact Bridges Group (IBG) in 2017. In this capacity, Terry specializes in impact investing and project investment appraisal, modeling and evaluation & advisory, as well as transaction structuring. He has considerable experience in impact investing and working with SMEs and enjoys working with service delivery partners who are committed to continually improving development results. He has worked on innovative financing models that include results-based financing approaches such as social and development impact bonds.

Prior to IBG, Terry worked as a Managing Partner with Graytscon and Associates, specializing in new development financing models, including social impact bonds, that encourage innovation and flexibility for better social results.

Terry also spent considerable time as part of the Senior Management Team within the International and Canadian Programs division of World Vision Canada, bringing 25+ years of development experience to their global work.

This experience and his institutional capacity development work with the regional government have provided an opportunity for a multi-sector approach to integrating economic, social, and environmental imperatives into local development initiatives. Terry has extensive field and project experience, including a posting in Africa. He is a frequent lecturer on various development topics, including CSR and NGOs.
